Daonna Designs

Our Brand Daonna Designs is inspired by the Irish word Daonna meaning Human, Humane and Kind. This encompasses our brand ethos which hopes to spread some positivity and beauty through our jewellery and our creative art. Our pieces seek to reflect the lived experience of being human – inspired by the rich jewels of the earth and the stunning Irish coastline and countryside. But also representing the spiritual side of humanity – our heritage of Celtic Spirituality. Our Process We create unique jewellery using natural materials such as gemstones, sterling silver, gold, bronze, copper, pearls and other elements. We use wrapping, knotting and threading techniques to create our one-of-a-kind designs. We source gemstones and precious/base metals from all over the world to gather quality materials that inspire our unique designs. Kaleidoscope Handmade Jewellery

I have been creating and making in one form or another most of my adult life; I fell in love with Jewellery design and making a few years ago, It all began with a book and a few beads … I believe in designing and creating quality Jewellery that looks good and will last. I am a bit of a magpie when it comes to bead shopping so there is a variety of styles and prices in the jewellery I create. My absolute favourite has to be Swarovski crystal stones; I love the sparkle of the stones and quality of the crystal pearls. If you do not see anything that you like or is just not the right colour, I also design and make custom pieces in your style and budget. You tell me what you like and we can design something together.

My name is Nadia, I have practised Yoga since 2001 and trained as a teacher here in Ireland. I continue to study to deepen my understanding of this discipline. I am honoured to share the little that I know with anybody who wishes to explore the wonderful gift of Yoga. . I teach Yoga for all abilities and stages of life. Offering Movement, Breathing and Meditation practices to benefit all. . My background is in Teaching, I worked for many years in Training and Development, specializing in technologies applied to learning. . I started using eye pillows to manage headaches and support relaxation and since I enjoy sewing and crafts,  I started making them for the students attending my Yoga classes. Soon I got orders from people all over Ireland, not just from Yoga practitioners, but also from those who wanted a tool to help them manage migraines and headaches, promote relaxation and aid sleep routines. Eye pillows are also great to sooth tired eyes, e.g. if you spend many hours in front of a computer screen. . You can also find Fabric Sensory Chewing Necklaces in my shop. .
