Weighted Eye Pillow For Relaxation and Yoga - Polka Dots On Pink - Handmade With Upcycled Fabrics
Sustainably made weighted eye pillow with removable cotton cover and filled with locally sourced organic linseed. Eco-friendly and handmade in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan using upcycled and reclaimed fabrics.
Hello yoga and relaxation fans!
If you are looking for a way to achieve a deeper relaxation during your savasana or meditation practice without compromising on your ethical and environmental standards, this could be the item for you.
It is also great for aiding relaxation in general, not just for yogis! It would make a great gift for someone who loves to lie back and relax. A weighted eye pillow helps you to rest better, relieve stress and tension and revive tired eyes.
This weighted eye pillow for relaxation is sustainably made with 100% upcycled fabrics in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. The removable outer case is 100% cotton in pink with a white polka dot pattern, the cover is machine washable at up to 40 degrees. The inner pillow fabric is 50/50 cotton polyester mix fabric.
Filled to a weight of 220g with organic linseed which moulds gently around the eyes. The pillow has been left unscented as I believe fragrance is a very personal choice, so you can add a drop of your preferred essential oil to the inner pillow to personalise your relaxation experience.
The fabrics in this eyepillow were unwanted leftover fabrics from a bag maker and bedding in a past life. By using upcycled fabrics, just one pillow saves up to 250 litres of water compared to using new fabrics.
Measures approximately 24 x 12 CM, a great size for blocking out light and visual stimuli in the room, allowing the senses to turn inward and relax.
Store in a cool dry place away from moisture when not in use. Heating or cooling this pillow is not recommended. The filled inner pillow is not washable.
Pattern placement will vary making each eye pillow unique and individual, no two items are exactly the same.
Eco-friendly gift wrap available with three different wrap options to choose from, see photos for more information. I can include a tag with a short personal message, if selecting this option please put your message in the order notes.

Thanks for stopping by, this is the Convert story.
Did you know it can take 20,000 litres of water to make the cotton fabric for a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, roughly the same amount an average Irish citizen uses in 5 months?
Did you know that in Europe, every second the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is incinerated or sent to landfill?
Did you know the fashion industry is responsible for 10 % of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined?
Maybe you do. A couple of years ago I didn’t, but when I did the idea for Convert was born.
I am Hannah the creator behind Convert. I have a background in textiles and I love the challenge of taking a preloved textile and giving it a new life as something else. All Convert products contain at least 70% upcycled fabric by weight.
I don’t buy something brand new and “repurpose” it, I will always be transparent when I have used a new element and all of my product descriptions identify the % of upcycled fabric it contains.
All fabric scraps get re-worked into some of the Convert product range to aim for zero-waste production.
Convert sustainable textile creations for living and gifting are handcrafted in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
