Handknitted Michael D Higgins teapot cosies (grey body)

This tea cosy has Michael’s blue eyes, his suit here is dark grey with green/red ties as chosen. I’ve added his distinguishable golden eye glasses and fuzzy hair.
This hand-knit teapot cosy is an adorable representation of Michael D Higgins himself, the 9th president of Ireland of the Republic of Ireland, from the Emerald Isle and Áras an Uachtaráin.

Even if you aren’t a fan of tea, then he’ll work as a coffee pot cover too. What a fantastic talking point he will in your kitchen/living area. What a great novelty teapot cosy. You can say the president came to call!!!
He is a large size teapot cosy that will fit a 4- 6 cup teapot.
Michael must be hand washed (He doesn’t like washing machines) and please let him naturally. Please take care when washing especially with his glasses. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Reshape whilst damp. He is environment-friendly and economical.

Hello from Mary in Ireland.
Thanks for visiting my Shop in Ireland/Marketplace shops. I have designed and created these breast cancer surgery support pillows and chemo port support pillows because I had breast cancer in 2011. I designed and made my own pillow after my mastectomy, as I wanted comfort and support in the first few weeks after surgery. I also had a portacath for my chemotherapy treatment, so I made and used a chemo port support pillow.
MY PILLOWS ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES! But they are very supportive and give great comfort when you need it most.
I know what people need so my pillows are made of colourful cotton fabrics, polyester filling and are fully reversible and fit comfortably under either armpit.
It's great to be able to offer people who have a breast cancer diagnosis and are on the journey somewhere to shop to get a gift for their specific needs. I say people because breast cancer affects both men and women!
This cancer journey does come to an end and we need to look to our futures in a positive and healthy state of mind.
Being part of the ShopinIreland community allows me to do this from the comfort of my home. ShopinIreland means that the world is at my doorstep and I am so grateful for the platform it has given me.
I pride myself on the quality of my workmanship. I hope you enjoy my sewed products as much as I’ve enjoy making them.
Thanks so much for reading this biography,
Mary Rodge
