Product Details
A tiny fused-glass angel suncatcher - made by hand-cutting tiny glass pieces to shape and then fusing (=melting) them together in my kiln - at temperatures approaching 800c in a process that takes 7 hours from start to finish. Each of these tiny angels is a one-off - and can be made in your choice of colours. Wings are generally clear glass (but can be coloured if you wish) and bodies are usually clear, coloured or wispy.
Ideal Christmas decoration - but also a lovely piece to hang in your window all the year round.
Angels hand-made to order - please allow at least 1 week for us to make your angel....
Measures about two and one quarter inches tall - supplied in gift box and short silky ribbon hanger, hang from the window-frame with a thin thread or fishing line.
Although these angels make lovely christening presents, they are not toys, and should not be given to young children unsupervised.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor use - if hung outdoors please ensure that the suncatcher cannot knock against anything. Handmade in West Cork.

Welcome to Inspired-glass and Chris's Cards. We're a husband and wife team (Adrian and Chris), making stained-glass, fused glass and handmade greetings cards, from our studios near Ballydehob, in Sunny West Cork. Adrian's stained-glass work (usually larger commissions) is made using traditional lead or 'Tiffany' copper-foil techniques - and I also do repairs to stained-glass items (anything from tiny suncatchers, through stained-glass lampshades up to larger door and window panels) The fused-glass (mostly dichroic jewellery and a range of suncatchers) is hand-made, and the fired in my own-built computer-controlled kiln - to create unique pieces of glass art. Thanks for visiting - hope to see you again soon Adrian & Chris
