Handmade Fabric Pumpkin Set of 3. Soft Cinnamon & Horse Chestnut Brown Upcycled Knit Decorative Pumpkins
This set of stuffed fabric pumpkins makes an ideal decorative autumn arrangement or maybe even a unique Halloween centrepiece. Containing 100% upcycled fabric content by weight, each pumpkin was clothing and fabric scrap in a past life. Hollowfibre from a clean old duvet and scrap fabric from other Convert creations comprise the fill. All are limited edition pieces from carefully selected fabrics.
The outer fabric of these soft cinnamon and horse chestnut brown pumpkins were jumpers in a past life, the stem fabric is pure silk scrap left over from the wardrobe department of a theatrical performance. The approximate dimensions of each pumpkin are 10-12CM diameter and 9-10CM tall from the base to the top of the stem.
These pumpkins are decorative and not to be used as a toy. Keep away from open flames. Spot clean only and the stem is fragile so lift from the pumpkin base only.
Each pumpkin is handmade in Carrickmacross and the use of preloved fabric means no two are quite the same. While a flawless creation is the aim some may have quirks such a rogue bead of glue or fabric pill. Please note that color may differ slightly from how it appears on your screen due to varying monitor settings.
Did you know that, on average, each EU citizen discards 11KG of textiles every year? If you prefer a sustainable option try Convert products which are all made with a minimum of 70% upcycled fabric content in order to divert some of this textile waste away from landfill and overwhelmed developing countries. If you are looking for a sustainable decoration for your home this is the ideal item.
Convert is passionate about sustainable solutions, all packaging used is recycled, re-used, recyclable or compostable. These decorative pumpkins are fragile so your order will be wrapped in reclaimed bubble wrap for shipping.

Thanks for stopping by, this is the Convert story.
Did you know it can take 20,000 litres of water to make the cotton fabric for a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, roughly the same amount an average Irish citizen uses in 5 months?
Did you know that in Europe, every second the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is incinerated or sent to landfill?
Did you know the fashion industry is responsible for 10 % of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined?
Maybe you do. A couple of years ago I didn’t, but when I did the idea for Convert was born.
I am Hannah the creator behind Convert. I have a background in textiles and I love the challenge of taking a preloved textile and giving it a new life as something else. All Convert products contain at least 70% upcycled fabric by weight.
I don’t buy something brand new and “repurpose” it, I will always be transparent when I have used a new element and all of my product descriptions identify the % of upcycled fabric it contains.
All fabric scraps get re-worked into some of the Convert product range to aim for zero-waste production.
Convert sustainable textile creations for living and gifting are handcrafted in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
