A recent design - these delightful little fused-glass suncatchers have been 'flying' off our stockists' shelves.
They are available in a range of body-colours, and have white or amber wings - depending on what feels right while I'm making them.
Their eyes are formed from hand-made glass milleifiori.
We always have some of these delightful little owls in stock, and we are happy to make something specific for you, but please allow 1 - 2 weeks for delivery of a non-stock owl. Email us if you have a specific colour-requirement for your owl.
They measure just under 2 1/2 inches tall (to the top of the silver-plated hanger), and come complete with a coloured silky nylon hanging loop.
I was told by an Italian customer that owls are considered lucky in Italy (who knew?) - but these lovely suncatchers are guaranteed to make you smile.Made from top-quality, self-coloured art-glass, hand cut and then kiln-fused at temperatures up to 800c in a process that take seven hours from start to finish, this delightful handmade suncatcher includes the rainbow or chakra colours, and makes a stunning decorative piece that can also be helpful in healing or meditation.
Comes complete with a silky hanging loop - measures 7 to 8 inches tall.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor use - if hung outdoors please ensure that the suncatcher cannot knock against anything. Handmade in West Cork.

Welcome to Inspired-glass and Chris's Cards. We're a husband and wife team (Adrian and Chris), making stained-glass, fused glass and handmade greetings cards, from our studios near Ballydehob, in Sunny West Cork. Adrian's stained-glass work (usually larger commissions) is made using traditional lead or 'Tiffany' copper-foil techniques - and I also do repairs to stained-glass items (anything from tiny suncatchers, through stained-glass lampshades up to larger door and window panels) The fused-glass (mostly dichroic jewellery and a range of suncatchers) is hand-made, and the fired in my own-built computer-controlled kiln - to create unique pieces of glass art.
