Maisie the Pig came to the sanctuary after becoming unwell as a piglet on her farm. In a bid to get her well, the farmer started to give her extra treats away from the other piglets and named her. The farmer decided that he couldn’t sell her so asked if we could give her a forever home.
Maisie is a kind, affectionate and very intelligent girl who takes everything in her stride. She has been a foster mum to piglets, goat kids and chickens!
She has beautiful big brown eyes with the loveliest eyelashes ever. Her "eyebrows" and the black spots on her bum give her a kind of unique appearance.
Your sponsorship of Maisie for 1 year will contribute to her food and veterinary costs and you will receive a personalized sponsorship certificate and photo of Maisie.

Shipping Policy: We ship with An Post standard post and use A4 board backed enverlopes ot avoid damage or bending. Postal delays may oocur which are outside of our control so we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Cost of shipping is €2.95 to Ireland & Europe, €4 to the UK, and €6 to the US.
Items that are returned within 14 days from the day of purchase in their original condition, with all tags and labels intact, will be refunded in full less the original shipping cost. Please let us know if you have any issues with your purchse, we are always happy to help.
Welcome! We are Jacquie & Alan from Beara Farm Animal Sanctuary in West Cork, Ireland.
Our sanctuary is home to unwanted/neglected farm animals who come here to live out their days in peace and comfort. We're providing sponsorship packages that you can gift to friends and loved ones, knowing that you are giving the gift of love.
As a non-profit, we're rely on donations to pay the food & vet bills for the many animals in our trust. We also have volunteers who help us with work on the land and care of the animals. We also have ongoing costs for maintenance of fences and shelters.
The goal of this store is to highlight soem of the amazing souls who live with us and to raise much needed funds.
