Breast cancer surgery support pillow (dusky plain blue)
* This is my post mastectomy/lumpectomy/upper chest surgery sleep support pillow is ideal for use directly after surgery, in the following weeks while healing takes place.
* This support cushion is shaped to fit comfortably under the affected arm, and is filled with hollow polyester fibres to a fairly firm finish, not too hard or soft, perfect to provide support and comfort.
* This pillow reaches mid chest in width, so it will easily cover the surgery area.
* I am a breast cancer survivor myself so I understand how individuals undergoing chest surgery need to feel supported as healing occurs.
* It measures 43cm wide X 37cm long and 10 cm in depth. This plain dusky blue fabric is soft and breathable. All support pillows come with a I love handmade label. This pillow is reversible so it can be used on either side of the chest.
You can opt to add matching fabric ties to aid in support so it can be tied to the chest if desired.

* I have sought advice from the Road Safety Authority in Ireland, in relation to the suitability of my pillows to be used when driving, if positioned under a seat belt. I want to advise caution on the use of aids that have the potential to interfere with any safety features in the car, and have the potential to interfere with any safety features in the car, and potentially increasing risk of injury.

* As they are handmade there may be very slight variations in sizing.
* This pillow/cushion can be hand wash or machine wash (up to 40 degrees). Allow to dry naturally, do NOT tumble dry.

As a woman who has had breast cancer in 2011 I specialise in post breast cancer surgery support pillows.
MY PILLOWS ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES!
I've designed my own pillow back in 2011, after my own mastectomy. I know what is needed after this surgery. So I've designed my pillows to be reversible and fit comfortably under either armpit. In this way you can use them to provide comfort and support while healing is occurring. What we need is to look to the future as life is for living even when you're on the cancer journey.
